About
Rhiannon Dunne, FNP-C, DCNP
Rhiannon Dunne, FNP-C, DCNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2010 and has worked in dermatology since 2011, joining South Shore Skin Center in 2013. After years of experience as a dermatology nurse, she returned to school to become a nurse practitioner, completing her graduate degree in 2018 and later earning her certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).
Rhiannon especially enjoys skin cancer screening and early detection. She often describes skin checks as detective work and finds it particularly rewarding to identify skin cancers at their earliest stages. She also has a special interest in treating acne and rosacea and enjoys helping patients find treatment plans that work for them.
Rhiannon’s approach to patient care is centered around listening. She wants her patients to feel comfortable discussing their concerns, understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and leave their visit feeling that their questions have been answered.
Originally from Georgetown, Massachusetts, Rhiannon enjoys hiking, camping, trips to the beach, and spending time with her husband, two children, and their golden retriever, Bear.
