Neurotoxins
South Shore Skin Center offers the following safe and effective neurotoxins for cosmetic skin care treatment:
- Botox: Botox is used to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and smooth out skin on the face. It can be used on multiple areas, but is most commonly used to treat forehead wrinkles and wrinkles around the eyes.
- Dysport: A cosmetic injection used for temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). Dysport is approved for use by adults under 65.
- Xeomin: Similar to Botox, Xeomin reduces the appearance of glabellar lines, and has been shown to effectively reduce moderate to severe frown lines. It differs from Botox in that it has no protein additives.
