What Is DermaSound?

DermaSound is a three-stage cosmetic dermatology treatment that uses ultrasonic vibrations to exfoliate, clean, and refresh the skin. The DermaSound device is FDA-approved to offer a safe and effective treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, natural signs of aging, acne, and other skin issues. DermaSound can even be used on sensitive skin and skin with rosacea or psoriasis.

Although it is used in rare cases on other areas of the body, DermaSound is most often used as a facial treatment.

About Flexile Classic

How Does DermaSound work?

DermaSound happens in three stages:

  1. Peeling: During the peeling stage, DermaSound uses a process called cavitation to exfoliate the skin and remove oil, debris, and anything else clogging the pores or keeping the skin from being clean.
  2. Infusion: The second stage of DermaSound infuses the skin with skin care products high in antioxidants.
  3. Micro-Current: The final stage of DermaSound applies a small electrical charge to the surface of your skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, helping it to look cleaner and younger.
  4. What Skin Conditions Does DermaSound Treat?

DermaSound has been shown effective for treating wrinkles, fine lines, acne, and signs of aging. In some cases, it’s an effective treatment for psoriasis and rosacea when used with other dermatologist-recommended treatments.

Why Should I Consider DermaSound?

If you are not pregnant, not using a pacemaker, and do not have any metal prostheses, DermaSound is a safe treatment for you. There is no downtime, because it’s not an invasive procedure. Your dermatologist will recommend how to get the most from your DermaSound treatment and let you know exactly what you can expect before, during, and after your treatment. If you’re ready for smoother, younger-looking skin, ask about DermaSound treatments at your next appointment or consultation.
